FREE MISC. LESSON - “Stress Relief Doodle - Sports”

FREE MISC. LESSON - “Clock Partners Template for Think Pair Share and Collaboration”

This think pair share printable provides you with an easy way to manage student partnerships in your classroom and reduces the amount of time students spend finding a partner during collaboration opportunities.

Simply distribute the clock partner sheet to each student in your class (with the clock printed on one side and the Clock Partner Promise Printed on the back). Have students record their 12 different clock partners on the 12 lines around the clock.

Some time slots can be reserved for specific partnerships (i.e. writing partners, reading partners) while others can be reserved for student choice.

Anytime you want your students to get up and move while learning, you can simply say, “Meet with your ___ o’clock partner.” Students can quickly find that partner, and share without any wasted time.

I recommend printing this document on card stock or laminating it to increase durability so clock partners can be stored in student desks.

FREE MISC. LESSON - “FREE Major Divisions of the Old Testament (‘THE 7-UP GAMES’)”

Get to know the major divisions of the Old Testament. THIS CENTER IS GREAT TO DO WITH PARTNERS!

This may be done while going through The Scripture Scout’s SLEUTH FOR THE TRUTH curriculum but of course, is an excellent resource on its own.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR "STACK IT UP"

1. Using your Bible to help you, first find the books of LAW. Stack these 5 books on top of each other. Then place "LAW" on top of them. Repeat those books over and over to yourself until you can say them in order without looking at your Bible! You can do it!

Now do the same with the next 12 books of HISTORY, then POETRY, then MAJOR PROPHETS, then MINOR PROPHETS.

2. Once your team has finished all the divisions, notify the teachers that you are ready for him or her to check your accuracy!

INSTRUCTIONS FOR "MATCH IT UP"

1. Using your team and your Bible's Table of Contents to help you, match up the correct OT Division with the appropriate OT Books. Place each one in order until you have completed all 39 books in the OT.

2. Let your teacher know you are finished so that he or she can check for accuracy.

How does Mrs. D use this binder?

This video is a great, quick explanation.

I keep a 1" binder (you could use a 2" binder) with 6 front/back pages of this contact log for each student next to my school phone. You never know when a parent will call, so it's nice to have it handy!

I use page dividers to separate each set of pages by student. This makes it easy to grab contact logs by student when I need to show admin or take data to a meeting.
