FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Snow Cone Categories Speech Therapy”

Summer Speech Therapy Pack

The cards are designed to print and laminate. They can be easily cut and used to play numerous games such as memory, go fish, I have who has. Another option is to keep one sheet whole and match the coordinating cards as you would for bingo or a cover up game. The possibilities are endless.

I have printed this pack on a high speed black ink printer and the pages come out nicely in grayscale. So if you don't choose to use color ink they are still functional :)

Carryover assignments are provided and can be sent home for practice or completed as a pre or post test to show progress in therapy.

FREE MISC. LESSON - “Memory Verses for 2nd Quarter”

On the weekends, I am a co-leader for the 2-4 year olds at our church. They do short memory verses with "help" every week. I made this book for the upcoming 6 weeks for students to take home and color. It is also a great way to practice letter recognition as well. I am planning to print, cut the pages in half and then either staple or borrow a binding machine.

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Free Handwriting Worksheets for Letter Formation and Identification”

If your students are struggling with handwriting or letter recognition these worksheets can help enhance your instruction. Each page provides opportunities to practice letter formation with rainbow tracing, letter identification, and more. Great for handwriting practice, writing centers, morning work, ABC countdowns, and occupational therapy handwriting activities.

OT Tip: A multisensory approach to teaching letter formation will also be helpful. Make sure you are incorporating multiple ways for students to practice making letters and numbers. It is important to include handwriting in letter recognition. The sensory input of letter formation helps develop a motor memory for letter shapes in the brain.

This is a free sample of my ABC writing worksheets. This set includes A for Apple, B for Bat and C for Cat. I have several versions of this style of resource available. Check out all that is included in the bundle.

These no-prep animal ABC writing worksheets are a great addition to letter sound and writing practice. A letter sound keyword sheet is included. Each of the 26 alphabet sheets include a letter sound picture, letter formation practice, visual perceptual letter identification, visual motor scissor skill cut and paste sentence, and a sentence to copy. Students trace and write each letter, circle the correct letter, cut and paste a sentence, and copy a sentence.
