FREE MATH LESSON - “Ten Frames Apple Games”

Here's a set of two number frame activities for autumn.
Ten frames are a great tool for subitizing, comparing, and practicing complements of ten. The bright apple theme of these games is fun for fall, but don't be surprised if you find yourself turning to this easy-to-prepare set all year for math centers and small group instruction!
* Apple Season Spin-and-Add:
Complements of 10: K.OA.4, 1.OA.8
Addition facts 1-10: 1.OA.6
Players spin the spinner and find a card that matches the number to complete a set of addends that total 10.
* Climb the Tree with Me!:
Subtraction Facts 1-10: 1.OA.6
Players “climb trees” by subtracting the numbers shown on two ten frame cards, and moving up that many spaces.
