Let the summer beach party begin! Looking for beach-themed vocabulary for your classroom, speech room, or to prepare for summer school or ESY? This Beach Vocabulary Freebie is a versatile and easy-to-use vocabulary lesson and activity with summer and beach vocabulary words.
Kids will enjoy this fun beach vocabulary activity. You can use it as a "guess what I am describing" riddle activity, or as a center-based tabletop activity of matching the picture to the definition.
Vocabulary words included:

☀ sunglasses
☀ cooler
☀ ship
☀ fishing pole
☀ shovel

To use these beach vocabulary cards, simply print, laminate (if desired), and cut apart. You may choose to cut apart all of the picture and definition cards, or just cut apart the picture cards and keep the definition pages as whole pages in order to place the picture cards on. These are fun, versatile, and easy to use in small groups, or as independent work.
