Students spell the short vowel word. They can click on the speaker next to each picture to hear the word.

The games were created on the Boom Learning platform. They’re easy for young students to use and very versatile - they can be played on any tablet, computer, Chromebook, laptop, or interactive white board!

You do NOT have to download any apps in order to use these materials. If you would like to use an app, however, they are available for free for Apple, Google, and Kindle devices.

FREE MATH LESSON - “Equation Flowchart Notes”

This handy flowchart is a great way to help your students learn to solve multistep equations.

When students would ask me for help solving equations, I found myself repeating the same questions over and over. The thing is ... the students need to learn what questions to ask! I have revised this flowchart many times over the years and my students seem to find it helpful. I hope yours do, too!

I like to model the use of the flowchart as I work examples in class so my students "hear" the questions over and over before I have them try to work on their own.

I hope you enjoy using this in your classes!

Can be used in #distancelearning if your students have access to this video through an online streaming service.

If using it in the classroom, teachers will require access to the film, which may be licensed through your school board or school district, or may be purchased separately.

FREE MATH LESSON - “Dog Math Center Activity Numbers 1-12 Count and Clip Cards”

Pre-Kindergarten - Kindergarten

Dog count and clip cards with pictures for numbers 1-12. Also included is a count and clip wheel up to 7, and numbers to clothespins and have students match them up. Work on finger strength and counting at the same time. Print on card stock, cut out and laminate for multiple uses. Place cards on a key ring to keep them all together. Use a variety of clips, have student place clip on correct number. Students can also use dry erase marker to circle the correct answer.
