Pre-Kindergarten - 1st Grade
Students follow the step-by-step illustrations to create their hen.
It can be created upon construction paper and cut and glued onto the paper provided OR students can draw the steps with pencil and add color with crayons, markers, or paint.
Writing options are as follows:
Level 1: Students simply write the name of their animal upon the line.
Level 2: Students write the name of their animal upon the line and count the number of hearts used and write that number on the line.
Level 3: Students write a story about their animal.
