Using simple verbs in our writing can be boring and less engaging. Students should be taught to use vivid verbs to add excitement to their writing and help create a picture in the reader's head.
This poster contains 45 words vivid verbs. There are 5 words in each of the following categories: walk, like, see, eat, run, jump, talk, got, cry.
