This free hands on sensory bin resource is a great introduction to counting. Sensory tub learning is engaging, fun and students love it. They will want to practice over and over. This resource is standards aligned and helps students understand the relationship between numbers and quantities.
Standards Focus: Students will understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
How to use:
•Print on cardstock and laminate to use over and over.
•Place bees in a filled bin. Have students pull out bees and put on their beehive according to the circle number card in the middle of the beehive.
Great for independent work or as a math center.
