This CVCe (consonant-vowel-consonant-e) / "Magic e" phonics reader will help your children to practice long a "Magic e" words in context.
I've included three versions of each book in this set:
- Full-sized, full-color (great for printing or projecting)
- Full-sized, black-and-white
- One page easy fold mini-books
Each story is followed by five types of activities:
- Phonics practice (focusing on word types)
- Fluency practice (Students read stories three times each and graph their progress.)
- Sentence building (Students unscramble sentences, rewrite them, illustrate them, and use a rubric to check their work.)
- Comprehension: multiple choice questions
- Comprehension: short answer questions
