FREE MATH LESSON - “Student Surveys”

by KinderIrick
Kindergarten - 3rd Grade

Students have fun gathering and analyzing data. They will learn fun facts about each other as they ask and answer the survey question. This activity has really brought my class closer as a community of learners and friends.

Students roam the room with a clipboard and the survey. They poll 11 classmates and tally the data. Then they organize the data into a bar graph. Finally they will draw conclusions about the results comparing the survey results to their own preference.

These surveys make a great math center activity. Once the kiddos understand how to use them, they can do so independently. My class loves these!

There are 25 different surveys for lots of data gathering fun.

Students practice listening and speaking skills as they interact with each other during the survey process.
