Contraction Puzzles and Assessments for Winter - $1.00

The purpose of the Contraction Puzzles with a winter theme, is to give students a way to practice this skill with manipulatives. Winter Contraction Puzzles has two formats. 58 puzzles each. One set has the students matching the winter shapes to form the matching contraction to the two words that make that contraction. The second set involves students matching the contraction hat to the two mittens with the contraction words.

The second set of cards can be differentiated by contraction family. Most of the time, writers can detect an error in subject/verb agreement because it sounds wrong. To those whose first language is not English, it may be more challenging to hear the errors.
