CONSEJOS PARA EL PROFESOR:

-Utilice ESTE VOLUMETRO para controlar el nivel de ruido en el aula. Lo he utilizado con alumnos de PRE-K a 2º grado.

-Recomendaciones: Imprima y plastifique un volumen-metro y una flecha. Pégalo en la pared con cinta adhesiva o blue-tack (masilla adhesiva de pared) para poder mover la flecha. También puedes utilizar velcro o cinta magnética.

-Explica las normas y las consecuencias. He añadido un ejemplo, pero utiliza consecuencias que ***FUNCIONEN PARA TU AULA*** (tiempo fuera/llamar a los padres... lo que te funcione...).

-Utilícelo constantemente y, con el tiempo, sólo tendrá que señalar la flecha o moverla ligeramente para que los alumnos hagan silencio.

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Flashcard Template: SAY-TRACE-WRITE”

These flashcards are designed to allow the student to 1) say the item that appears on each card, 2) trace the item, and 3) write the item on a separate line.

The file will contain a sheet of blank cards so that the teacher can create flashcard items, if preferred. The set also contains a title for the back side of the cards. Cards can be printed and laminated so that dry erase markers can be used for the tracing and writing and then reused by another student.

FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Reading Comprehension FREEBIE”

This resource includes a short story with a black and white picture(s) which students may color. Each story and related questions are on a full page. Under each short story, there are three questions about the story. At the bottom of each page, there are 6 choices for the answers to the questions with only 3 being correct. Students will cut and glue the correct (picture) answer for each question in the space provided.

The story is shown in the preview.

There are many uses for these stories/questions. They can be used in a kindergarten class with the teacher reading the story and asking questions to the students and having the students cut and glue the pictures for their answers. They can also be used for independent reading practice in first or second grade by letting students read the short story, read the questions, and answer the questions even if they have to look back in the story to find the answer (finding evidence) (close reading).

These short stories are great for guided reading groups, homework, a mini lesson, or literacy center activities.

Use this gorgeous set of pirate dominoes to practise matching Australian coin combinations above one dollar and up to $4.50.

Students match the coin combinations to other coin combinations of the same amount or the symbolic representation (e.g. $ 4.50). Students also match the pirate images as part of the game.
