Nature Shapes Craft Patterns

PLAY WITH NATURE CRAFT PATTERNS!

If your students love nature, I'm sure they will enjoy this nature craft set!

Print and go with these black and white line nature patterns.
Use for "stained glass", sun catchers, stencils, silhouettes....and more!

This is a set of simple patterns (in 3 formats) that will make striking art pieces to hang in the room, in the windows, or anywhere! You and your students will have fun folding, tracing, cutting, and exploring ways to personalize their art work!

Use this set in many ways:
Make beautiful stained glass window sun catchers.
Use them as stencils.
Make pretty black silhouettes against light papers, or in the windows.
Use two colors for each pattern to show complementary colors.

There are several uses and ideas for playing with these patterns.

Practice Fine Motor Skills:

This set requires good fine motor skills. For kids who are still developing fine motor skills, have them cut out the outside shapes. Adults can cut out the inside holes, which is the most difficult task.
This is targeted for grades 2 and up because of the skills needed to cut out the detailed sections of the patterns.

Teach Concepts:

Symmetry
Positive vs. Negative Space

Decorate the room:

Kids enjoy hanging them up in windows, on bulletin boards, or doors.
Use them in posters, for literacy or science activities, or even
 greeting cards.

These playful nature shapes and patterns included are:
  • Butterfly
  • Mushroom
  • Salamander
  • Fish
  • Frog
Complete instructions and sample photos are included.
Some shapes will take extra practice cutting, but patience will be rewarded!
