Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
Are you looking for some great hands-on phonics practice for your students? I've got you covered. This no-prep file is a sample of my bundle of 7 different files for independent practice and is super easy to use. I've included step by step directions on how to use this file on an iPad.
This is a Smart Board file. You MUST have Smart software for this file to work.
This will work on the Smartboard for use in whole group instruction, but I designed it for students to use independently on iPads. You MUST have the Smartboard App installed on each iPad for this file to work.
**Touch the star to have the word spoken. No more interrupting the teacher to ask what a picture is!**
The complete file includes:
1. Build it Students use the letter tiles to build the word. There is a box for each phoneme. ex: cat has three phonemes or sounds.
2. Build it. Write it. Students slide the letter tiles down to the first line to build the word. Then they use one of the pens from the Smartboard app to write the word on the handwriting lines.
3. Circle it. Students use the pen to circle the digraph that matches the picture.
4. Letter boxes Students write the word in the letterboxes
5. Spell it. Students use the pen to circle the beginning,middle, and ending sounds in the word. Then they write the word on the line.
6. Read it. Trace it. Draw it. Students read the word. Then, they use the pen to trace the word and draw a picture of
the word
7. Write it. Students write the word that matches
the picture.
