Valentine Fraction Riddles: Identifying and Reducing Fractions to Lowest Terms - $3.00

Looking for a Valentine's Day activity for your upper-level students? These medium-ability 9-square sudoku puzzles will fill your class period and maybe two periods with meaningful activities. Each of the 10 puzzles includes a "secret word" that is spelled across, down, and within each smaller square. After they finish the puzzle and find the secret word, the worksheet includes the instruction to create a sentence using the secret word about Valentine's Day. You could even go one step further and ask your students to create a story that either begins or ends with that sentence.

Sentence Patterns Valentine's Day Grammar Worksheets | Print | Digital | Easel $4.00

By varying sentence patterns and starting sentences with phrases or clauses instead of subjects and verbs, students can improve their writing and create more engaging prose. These 20 Valentine's Day-themed sentences follow a basic structure, beginning with the subject and verb.  Challenge your students to rewrite these sentences while preserving their original meaning, encouraging sentence variety. Along the way, they’ll also be reminded of familiar themes and symbols associated with Valentine's Day.

Roll and Calculate is a hands-on Algebra math game designed to practice the addition and subtraction of positive and negative numbers. Two players take turns rolling two dice numbered 1-6 and then add or subtract the numbers based on the placement on the game board.
