This is a partner game that works on short vowel words. The only materials you need are two game pieces! This is a great game to play in your Word Work center.
The students read the word and decide if it is real or fake before moving to the corresponding space. This is also great for boosting scores on the NWF subtest of DIBELS. The game is broken down into smaller games for each short vowel. You can choose to use the words for a specific short vowel sound, or mix them up and review all of them.
