FREE MATH LESSON - “Vertex Form of a Quadratic Investigation”

The goal of this activity is for students to observe that the vertex of a quadratic function can be found from the equation of the function in vertex form and that it is (h, k). 

Students should already be familiar with quadratic functions in standard form and parabolas. Students should also know how to square binomials and find the vertex from standard form.
