Emergent Reader ESL Trace and Paste Who is On The Farm? This is a 12 page emergent reader. There are two versions of the book. It is great for teaching literacy, vocabulary words, and farm vocabulary with ESL/ELL kids!
Emergent Reader ESL Trace and Paste Who is On The Farm? and Literacy Center! This pack can be used in several ways. You can complete a class book with velcro pieces as a guide and then have the kids complete their own books. There are 9 pages in the first book to practice with reading the sentences and then cutting and pasting the correct farm animal on each page. The second book includes simple images where the students trace and read along then color. After using it as a demonstration, this book can become a literacy center. Students can manipulate the pieces, use dry erase markers to complete the activities. Students also complete their own emergent reader version of the book to take home and practice! Perfect for visual ESL learners!
Includes:
• Book cover page (half student pages).
• Half page Student books with duplicate top and bottom versions for easy copying, and assembly (first version of the book).
• Half page Student books with duplicate top and bottom versions for easy copying, and assembly (second version of the book).
• Students interact with their books in the following ways:
*Read the sentences on each page.
*Color the picture.
*Identify the picture and then trace it.
*Practice reading and pointing to each word in the sentence.
*Cut the picture and glue it on the correct page.
