This FREE printable is great for practicing comparing quantities. My son has had his basic counting skills down for about 6 months now, so I was shocked when I started having him do activities like this and he had to guess on every question!
Figuring out which group has more or less of something definitely uses a different set of cognitive skills than counting, one-to-one correspondence, or number recognition. Knowing which group is more or less just by looking seems simple, but it’s tricky for kids… and this is a fun way for them to practice!
