FREE MATH LESSON - “Place Value: Math Center Game”

by Stacy Johnson
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade

This is a great Place Value game to add to your Math centers.
There are two sets of cards. Set 1 is number cards 0-9 and Set 2 is number cards in written form to make numbers up to 999. There are mats to go with the base ten game pieces that the students cut out or you can cut and laminate. Student picks 1, 2, or 3 cards and makes the numbers with the base ten blocks.
Example: If student picks the number 1, 9 and 6, they will make the number 196 on the mat with the base 10 blocks (1 hundred, 9 tens, and 6 ones). If student picks the written form (two hundred) (ninety) (six), then they will make 196 on the mat with the base ten blocks.
