FREE MATH LESSON - “Logic Puzzle for Developing Critical Thinking Skills”

This brain teaser engages students by asking them to use math skills such as greater than & less than plus logic to determine the number and type of medals six different countries earned. Great for warm-ups, early finishers, brain breaks, transitions, or even sub plans.

The challenge is in the logic of the puzzle here, so it could be used with middle schoolers and still be engaging for high school freshmen. My students LOVE these puzzles and are always asking me to make more :)

Included with the puzzle: one version with the logic grid set up, one version without - about half my students want the grid, the other half want the blank space. Answer key and a guide to how I solve logic puzzles is also a part of the download.
