This sort focuses on the beginning sounds B and D, and it's free! Preparation is easy: hit print, cut the picture word pages in half, and place in your word work center!

Recommended Use:
- Literacy Centers: Place the sorting page and picture card cutouts in your Word Work Center with scissors and glue. Students complete the activity, read the words when they are finished, and color their pictures.
- Morning Work: Students can complete this activity for morning work as extra practice.
- Independent Work: After teaching the beginning sounds B and D, have students complete the sort independently to determine mastery.
- Homework: You can send home these pages for homework.
- Assessment: You can use this sort as an assessment to determine if students can differentiate between the beginning sounds B and D.
