FREE LANGUAGE ARTS LESSON - “Email Writing for Students | The Dos and Don’ts of email | Google Slides Guide”

by The Language of Learning
3rd - 7th Grade

Emailing is a specific type of letter writing that needs specific, explicit instruction in our ELA classrooms.

In this digital age that we find ourselves in, teaching how to write a good email is more important than ever! If we don't teach our kids how to write an email correctly--and use good email etiquette--they'll be missing vital skills they need in the real world (and our classrooms!)

This is a simple how-to guide walking students through the important parts of what a good email looks like, as well as pointing out some common mistakes students make and need to avoid.

Using Google Slides, this can be a whole-class lesson, a distance learning lesson, or simply a useful resource for your students to look at whenever they need to throughout the year.

Perfect for the Distance Learning Classroom OR in-person classrooms.

Enjoy!
