These discussion questions were designed to be used after reading The Man Who Walked Between the Towers. This award-winning children’s book by Mordicai Gerstein describes the true story of Phillipe Petit, the man who walked on a cable suspended between the twin towers back in 1974. This story is perfect for reading and discussing on 9/11 Remembrance Day.
This free resource includes both printable and digital discussion cards. The printable cards come in both color and black & white. The digital task cards are available in two different formats: Boom Cards and Google Slides. Because these questions were designed to foster discussion and were not intended to be comprehension questions, an answer key is not provided.
