Add a twist to making your own butter! In this experiment, students will experiment and see what will happen if they use low-fat milk to try to make butter. They will do a side-by-side comparison of the experiment using low-fat milk and cream to try to make butter. They will go through the scientific method by formulating a hypothesis, running an experiment, recording observations, and drawing conclusions about their experiment findings.
The first two pages are the worksheets for the students, followed by the teacher guide.
