This an easy and versatile way of choosing partners and groups in the classroom.
Each student gets a compass where they will write down their compass cohorts. North and South has the option of two names to make a group of 3 (this is great for odd numbered classrooms and when a small group is needed over partners.
Based on your needs you could: 1) have the students choose their own partners 2) You choose students partners 3) You choose some partners based on needs and abilities and have open choice on others for students to choose.
