This is my BEST SELLING 15 page unit that perfectly fits a class study of mysteries. It was created for use in mystery book clubs, but is also perfectly suitable to independent or paired reading study of mystery texts. The unit is a perfect compliment to the series of mini-lessons that form the Reader's Workshop unit on mysteries. vocabulary, character traits, inferences about character, genre characteristics, and so much more is also included in the resource. In addition, a truly engaging mystery reader's theatre script is INCLUDED that acts as a model for students to write their own script based on the mystery books that they have been reading. Common Core - "4th Grade Math Common Core Task Cards"

4th Grade Math Common Core Task Cards

These tasks cards are a perfect way to review for the standardized tests in the spring. Each question comes directly from the math common core state standards with the standard noted at the bottom of each card. There are three different designs in order to differentiate for various students - open ended (in bright, bold spring design), open ended (in polka dot border so the card looks "cleaner"), multiple choice in polka dot border. You can mix and match the cards as you wish. Although these cards are specific to 4th grade standards for math, 3rd grade teachers can use them as challenge questions, and 5th grade teachers can use these to review and solidify concepts taught in 4th grade.

Here is what is included:
**Ideas for how to use these cards**40 task cards in 3 different designs**Open ended questions answer key**Student response page**Multiple choice answer key**Questions listed with standard**Standards listed by question

One Step Closer Teaching

Featured Seller 1st Grade Salt Life

Tell us about yourself.
My name is Elizabeth and I have been teaching in the great state of Virginia for 10 years.  I have taught 1st grade for most of those years but recently started a new journey in 2nd grade.  When I am not teaching I love to spend time with my husband doing something outdoors like hiking, swimming, and running.

What do you like best about teaching?
I love that every day is a NEW day! You never know what to expect when you walk in the door in the morning.  I also love when a child has a “light bulb” moment; that moment when you can see it on their faces that they get a skill that was previously difficult for them!

Describe your favorite TpT product.

My Letter Sound RTI is my favorite.  It took a long time to create and I have had so much success with it, with my own students, in helping them recognize letters and sounds.   The product is a 25 days RTI program.  This can be done 1 on 1 or in a small group.  All materials are included and if laminated, can be used year after year!

What advice would you give to someone who may want to become a seller at Teachers Pay Teachers?
I would say “GO FOR IT” You won’t regret it! By becoming a seller it brought back some of the joy of teaching that had been lost by testing and data.  My students have benefited greatly from new ideas and products. TpT is an awesome community where everyone genuinely cares about one another and wants everyone to be successful.  The only thing I regret it not joining sooner!

What have you done or hope to do with your TpT earnings?
Anything and everything.  My eventual goal is be able to take a year or 2 off of teaching to focus on our family.

What do you like best about being a member of The Best of Teacher Entrepreneurs Marketing Cooperative?
I love the access it has given me to new buyers and collaborative efforts from other sellers! It’s a great community!  I have seen great gain in profits, followers, and feedback since joining! I’m happy to be here!
