FREE SAMPLE VOWEL SLEUTH

WARNING!

These puzzles are difficult to use. The children will cut off the puzzle buttons as they cut out the individual pieces, and they will have difficulty putting them together. This is normal.

So why should you and your students persevere?

These vowel sorts teach both the short and the long vowel sounds with the added benefits listed below.
1.The slow, careful cutting that is required for these activities will help develop fine motor skills.
2.Puzzles build cognitive skills, problem solving skills, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination.

Puzzles are provided in color and black and white.  The colored version makes a great literacy center when laminated.

Puzzle Types Included in the Full Resource
