This resource will make opinion writing fun and easy. Kids love choices, and they love to trade! With this activity, students will select 1 of 24 topics from an envelope. They may either keep the topic or place it back in the envelope and trade with a classmate. Repeat as often as time allows. My kids seemed happy with their topic after 2 opportunities to trade. 2 graphic organizers are provided to help the kids organize their writing. You could also use the topics in a literacy center.
